The company is situated at Akwadum (Brong- Densuso) off the Suhum-Koforidua main road in the Eastern Region of Ghana. It became operational in 2001 and has gradually etched itself into the Ghanaian beverage market by maintaining high quality control measures
The first alcoholic beverage produced was Joy Dadi Bitters followed by joy Twedie ginger. These products have gained strong grounds on the Ghanaian market and other African countries.

The force behind this company is a talented three young brothers, namely, Dr. Manfred Takyi (CEO), Dr. Harrison Tetter (Deputy CEO) and Dr. Enock Sorgin (2nd Deputy CEO) who by dint of hard work, came together to set up this company.
They started with skin care and soap products like joy ointment and joy medicated soap which gained grounds in some few years despite numerous teething challenges. The product users appreciated how helpful the products were and bought into the accolade “Joy Ointment…… No Scent.
As the company progressed, the stake holders decided to expand their product lines by adding alcoholic beverages. The idea of expanding into alcoholic beverages was propounded by Dr. Takyi Nutifafa Kwasi, a family friend, and also a research scientist at ‘Mampong research Centre into plant medicine’.
The company depends on only natural herbs as our basic raw material for production. This made it possible for the company to receive several awards across the globe. In fact, these products catapulted the company on a high pedestal in the Ghanaian market. It is in view of this that they won a lot of awards, notable amongst them is the “best bitters in Ghana”.
Later, additional product lines were added. These are; sokoo, lime cordial, tw3de3 bitters and wobete. Currently, two more products have been added. These are; joy dadi mineral water and Vikil 20.
The latter is in fact performing wonders in the world. Although an immune booster, Vikil 20 has cured a lot of ailments ranging from cancer to stroke.
This is a hard-core fact not trumpeted by the directors of the company but a staggering confessions, evidence and witnesses from consumers’ worldwide.
All our products are routinely tested by our Research and Quality Control Department at our international standard laboratory. The various products of the company have been approved by the
Food and Drugs Authority, Ghana Standards Authority and Centre for Scientific Research into Plant Medicine.
As the saying goes, “a Nation which does not honor its heroes is not worth dying for.” it is against this background that the four (4) main pillars of the company, Mr. Manfred Takyi, Mr. Harrison Tetteh, Mr. Enock Sorgin and Mr. Takyi Nutifafa Kwasi were honored by bestowing upon them a doctorate Diploma. The first three were honored by Ternopil State Economic University, Ukraine, and the 4th person, by Zaporozhe State Medical University, Ukraine in the year 2017.
