DMAC Foundation has donated a brand new laptop to a visually impaired student of the University of Cape Coast, this kind gesture was sponsored by Joy Industries.
Christabel Ahuma who requested a laptop last year to DMAC, could not hide her excitement when she received it.
The laptop will aid her in her studies and also make learning easier for her as she is pursuing education at the university.
When she made the request to DMAC, they also sought sponsorship from Joy Industries who readily agreed to fund the donation.
Christabel lost her sight in 2012 when she was 15 years old, she was writing her BECE when suddenly she could not see again.
However, it did not stop her from pursuing her dream to be a teacher in the near future, she was enrolled in the school for the blind to learn braille and that enabled her to write her BECE.
She passed the exams and proceeded to Ghana National College where she successfully passed her WASSCE as well.
Christabel has appealed for support to enable her to pay her fees in the tertiary.
